‘SWEET TNT’ NATURE

Welcome to ART WITH AUNTY JAIME (AWAJ)!
I am grateful I am able to continue my teaching profession even during ‘lock down.’ The video tutorials are to the very end of this page. Please read the following information first.

Art camp a few years ago. Puppets are one of the children’s favorite activities.

All materials are sourced through local distributors, art stores, artisans, hardware stores, etc and the handmade items are made by a local seamstress and members of my workshop and art camp team. Your support goes a long way to not just me but also to my teachers, assistants and artisans.

I also have art packages for varying ages and you can see my Facebook Page or Instagram for more details.

The Hand Puppets come in three different skin tones and you choose the option you prefer when you order.

Current colours available (may change over time if other shades become available)

The materials have been sanitized and allowed to ‘sit’ for days before being packaged and all protocols have been observed.

This Package is a craft-based package for ages 3 to 7. Adult supervision and assistance is needed for ages under 6 whereby the adult will follow the video alongside the child and assist/translate . Those aged 6 and 7 may still need assistance with different parts of the process.

Please ensure to read your guides and have your templates and materials handy. These videos are not meant to be watched and then followed, they are meant to be ‘make along’ videos so that we produce the art/craft together. You can pause, rewind, and re-watch as needed. Enjoy!

Children are also given a lot of options and a lot of freedom to imagine and create what they desire. This is the way that I teach as I encourage individual creativity. They may need your assistance but let them do as much of the activity on their own as is possible.

They can roll their own clay
They can peel, stick, glue and choose materials for themselves
Real leaves are better for this craft than the template as we love the imprints the veins leave on the clay when rolled!
They can choose their own leaves from a garden or park
Every child’s bowl or saucer looks unique

The first batch released on November 20th 2020 will have access to these videos until March 2020. The tote, magnet and mobile are all new activities!

KEY NOTES: 1. Please read the note to parents and the warnings note. This package has sharp objects (skewer and a pin) as well as craft glue etc.

2. The wooden dowel is used for your mobile permanently so please create the mobile as your last clay activity. There are 3 clay-based activities.
