Chinese Ink Paintings

This is for ages 16 to adult and we can use paint instead of ink.
I briefly review and demonstrate some simple techniques with watercolour paint – showing dry and wet brush techniques and I make paint sketches.

Art with Aunty Jaime: Chinese Ink Painting

After this I demonstrate a landscape with mountains, ocean and a close up of a cherry blossom tree. I encourage you to make any changes you desire – be it to colour, brush strokes, or even the imagery you choose to paint.

This is the third activity in my series: Local Artists and Art from Around the world. It is inspired by art from China and Japan.
